Staff of the Anti-Drug Directorate (Dirandro) of the National Police of Peru (PNP) seized in the city of Pisco (region Ica) six kilos of cocaine alkaloid and twelve kilos of cannabis sativa (marijuana), after an interprovincial bus and a tourist bus intervened, respectively.
In a first action, anti-drug agents found an encomienda (raffia sack) containing cocaine alkaloid, with a total gross weight of approximately 6 kilos, inside the BOB-967 license plate bus hold, belonging to the company Antezana Hermanos SA, which was traveling at kilometer 73 of the Los Libertadores road, district of Huancano, province of Pisco, from the city of Ayacucho bound for Lima.
The encomienda had a manuscript inscription with black ink "LIMA-8242-H.C.K.D", where police personnel introduced a metal punch and extracted a brownish white substance, being subjected to the field test with the chemical reagent cobalt thiocinate, throwing a "turquoise" coloration with "positive" indicative presumptive for alkaloid cocaine.

In the same way, an aquarium bag was found, black, containing four packages of ovoid shape lined with a green plastic bag, with a dried vegetable substance (leaves, stems and seeds) indicative presumptive for cannabis sativa (marijuana). Both packages added a total gross weight of approximately 12 kilos. After a quick investigation it was determined that said baggage was approached at the exit of the Ayacucho bus by Amílcar Emilio García Ricalde, who was intervened when he tried to get off the vehicle to undertake the flight.
The alleged perpetrator of the crime against public health – illicit drug trafficking (TID) was placed at the disposal of the Secinpol of the sectoral police station of Pisco for the legal proceedings.
